Firstly, thank you to all those who supported us in 2012. We look forward to providing our services to you in 2013. During 2012, we invested a lot of time and resources into the continued development of our safety systems.
As you are aware, the nature of our daily activities requires us to ensure that we have robust and practical safety systems and procedures in place, whether it is jetting drains, cleaning waste water treatment plants or general power-washing operations, all of our daily activities are carried out with the safety and health of our employees and our customers in mind at all times.
As a result of our continued development of our safety management system and commitment to our loyal customer base, we would like to bring to your attention the fact that we now frequently undertake the role of PSCS (Project Supervisor Construction Stage) and PSDS (Project Supervisor Design Stage) in a large portion of our local authority & other works. All of this is delivered in house by our own health and safety manager and operations team.
By assuming the role of PSDS / PSCS, the management of all aspects of safety during the design and / or construction stage is managed entirely by AQS Environmental Solutions within the guidelines set out in the ‘Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act (Construction Regulations) 2006’ – we liaise directly with all relevant parties to ensure that the works are undertaken in a safe, sustainable manner.
