Health and Safety

Safety First, Every Time

Our daily activities pose significant health and safety challenges to our staff, including entry into confined spaces, operation of large machinery, manual handling, driving, handling a wide array of products and chemicals, and general physical work. However, we mitigate the risks by providing a platform within our company for open communication, continuous training, and making sure that we utilise the best available safety systems and equipment.

Operations

24/7/365 Emergency Call-out

A key attribute of AQS is our ability to react swiftly to enquiries and undertake all our jobs, big and small, in a timely but properly planned and efficient fashion. Our operations team utilise fleet tracking systems and SAP provides the system support, from initial enquiry to generation of final invoice. We also operate a 24/7/365 emergency call out support line that is fully manned.

Quality

Exceeding Customer Requirments

AQS strives to consistently provide services that meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements. Our ISO 9001 accreditation and resulting QEHS management system focusses on our works processes and enables us to adapt to changes in the marketplace, be it through adopting new technology, adapting to updated health and safety requirements or changing environmental standards.

Training

Essential Training

Training is an essential part of our business to make sure that all our personnel are competent, safety aware and confident in undertaking their daily tasks. Our training programme includes confined space entry, manual handling, driver CPC’s, CSCS cards for operation of plant and equipment, and continuous professional development for our office personnel as required.

About AQS

The AQS promise

We take pride in our brand and our promise to customers. We always strive to be honest and transparent about what we can achieve, and how we achieve it.
At AQS, we back our teams all the way. In return, we expect a lot from them in terms of performance and behaviour. Supported by our parent company, Lanes Group plc, we will always make sure they have best tools and expertise to do their work.
We will work in partnership with our customers, sharing their vision and helping them overcome their biggest challenges to achieve their business objectives and be successful.
